Our story
It started with movie night
Nibblers is a family business built on family recipes, a lot of board games, and a big bowl of popcorn in the middle of the table.

Meet Rob & Melanie
Childhood sweethearts from South Sac
Rob and Melanie Sweeney grew up together in South Sacramento. They married in 1996 and raised three sons, and the best nights in their house always looked the same: a movie or a board game, the whole family on the couch, and popcorn. (We still take movie night very seriously.)
Those nights came with recipes that got passed down and perfected over the years. In the summer of 2018, they turned them into Nibblers, right here in El Dorado Hills.
Their whole idea is simple. Popcorn is how families slow down and spend time together. Every bag we pop is meant to help you do the same.
How we make it
Popped here, not in a factory
Small batches
Every flavor is popped in small runs in our in-store kitchen, all day long.
Non-GMO kernels
We start with 100% non-GMO popcorn and build every flavor from there.
Family recipes
The caramel, the cheddar, the Dorado. Recipes we've been tweaking for years.
About that train
Yes, there's a train
A model train runs laps around the inside of the store. It's there for the same reason the shop is: to make you feel like a kid again for a few minutes.
