Yes, Charleston Chews are still made, and the vanilla bar is the original! Back in the roaring twenties everybody was dancing the Charleston, and in 1925 a candy maker named a bar after it. A hundred years later it's still one of the most fun candy bars on our retro wall.
It's soft, chewy vanilla nougat in a chocolatey coating. Eat it straight for a long, stretchy chew, or do what the pros do: pop it in the freezer, then whack it on the counter so it cracks into crunchy little bites.
