Abba-Zaba is a chewy white taffy bar with a creamy peanut butter center, wrapped in that famous yellow and black checkerboard wrapper. It has been around since the 1920s.
The taffy is soft and stretchy, the peanut butter is rich and smooth, and together they make one of the most beloved West Coast candy bars around. Some spell it abazaba or aba zaba, but everyone knows the checkerboard.
